Organization Description

Planned Parenthood Northern California provides high-quality, affordable health care for women, men, and teens. Our experienced and caring medical staff gives each client honest information and personal attention. We provide a range of reproductive and general health services including birth control, abortion, prenatal care, pregnancy testing, STD screening and treatment, sterilization and counseling.

Program Information

Intern duties includes attending meetings with coalition and community partners, strategizing and implementing events to engage with supporters and volunteers, assisting health center staff with education and engagement of clients around public health policy. This intern will help foster partnerships between Public Affairs and Health Education to bring all aspects of Planned Parenthood's work to community events such as farmer's markets and county fairs.
