Organization Description

Counseling & Psychological Services Prevention Education Programs includes the following programs: SF State Cares SF State Cares is SF State's university wide mental health campaign sponsored by Counseling & Psychological Services, CEASE, and the SAFE Place.

Program Information

For Prevention Education Programs, students will have an opportunity to plan and implement outreach programming around Mental Health, Sexual Violence, Alcohol & Other Drugs, and/or wellness promotion. Outreach efforts include but are not limited to workshop facilitation, peer organizing, developing media for campaign efforts, and planning outreach events. Students will also have an opportunity to contribute to program evaluations. The three interns will be placed with either CEASE, The SAFE Place or Counseling & Psych Services.
