Organization Description

In partnership, Glide Memorial United Methodist Church, the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Nursing and Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, GHS has offered primary care, mental health, substance abuse, complementary care and wellness services to San Francisco’s homeless and medically-underserved residents since 1997. GHS has been well integrated into the “safety net” of public and private agencies that includes being a member of the San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium. These partnerships have helped GHS to become an established Federally-Qualified Health Center and federally-supported Health Care for the Homeless provider site. Additionally, GHS provides pre-licensure and advanced practice nursing students, nurse practitioner residents and other health professional students clinical training opportunities.

Program Information

Interns will work on NCM Case Management and Transitions Coordination Emerging Adults Project. This work will involve research analysis and evaluation.
