La Clinica de La Raza, Inc - Youth Heart Health Center

Interns would work closely with the Health Educator and the Site Supervisor to support the day to day operations of the clinic and gain hands on skills working with a youth focused health center. The interns would also work with the peer to peer health education and onsite youth development program for high school students - focused on topics that range of changing the food environment to sexual health promotion. The intern would also plan and deliver outreach and education workshops for students. Although the YHHC serves a wide age range, the intern would work most closely with high school students at focus on adolescent health promotion.
