Organization Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides after-school programs for youth ages 6-18 in the Carson and South Los Angeles areas. We provide 11 sites in Carson and South Los Angeles that includes a Clubhouse located in Carson.

Program Information

Our Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with after-school programs in Carson, Gardena, and South Los Angeles serving nearly 700 elementary, middle, and high school youth each day. We cultivate their ability to dream, discover and develop into lifelong learners.

Health & Safety

Our number one priority is the safety and security of our youth. That said, all applicants must submit to a thorough onboarding process that includes a background check, Live Scan Fingerprinting, and a TB test.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is an after-school program that serves K-12 students.

Theft can happen on our school and club sites, so please do not bring anything of high value.

Volunteers/Interns are not allowed to run an after-school program or be alone with our members at any time. There will always be a supervisor or staff member training and supervising them.
