Organization Description

We are and orthopedic clinic with 4 orthopedic surgeons with an attached rehab facility in Campbell. Our approach is integrative in that we create individualized treatment plans that incorporate medications, injections, joint lubricants, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications—performing surgery only when necessary. Our board-certified specialists are committed to delivering patient-centered care.

Program Information

Student will be observing Physical Therapist and Aide staff through patient care processes such as modalities (ultrasound, e-stim) therapeutic exercises, mechanical traction and administrative tasks. There will be hands on training of these processes.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned...

Student will be able to feel confident working with patients with a variety of chronic and acute disabilities. Student will be able to conduct modalities for patient and assist them with therapeutic exercises. Student will be able to complete administrative tasks such scheduling patients, patient insurance authorizations and doing SOAP notes.
