Weber Metals is a full line aluminum and titanium forging supplier with the highest quality products for: - Commercial aerospace - Military aerospace - Space programs - Jet Engine Components - Electronics/semiconductor industry Weber Metals, Inc. has over 60 years of experience and growth. Our company began as a scrap metal business in the mid-1940s. Mr. Edmond L. Weber saw an opportunity to serve the Aluminum forging needs of the growing West Coast Aerospace Industry and founded an open die forging business in Paramount, California at the site where the company currently operates. Weber Metals began with initial customers like Boeing and Douglas Aircraft. Today, those same customers remain a significant source of Weber Metals, Inc. business. Weber Metals, Inc. incorporated in 1962. The current owner Otto Fuchs Metallwerke purchased Weber Metals in 1979. On the sale date, Weber Metals, Inc. employed 60 people, occupied 8 buildings totaling 122,000 square feet. Otto Fuchs Metallwerke invested significant capital in adding our large presses. Today, we have grown to over 450 employees, 283,773 square feet and occupy approximately 21 acres of land. Our current expansion will include a 60,000 ton press, additional 60 jobs to run and support this press and will take 2 ?? years to build. This expansion is being funded by our parent company, Otto Fuchs Metallwerke of Meinerzhagen, Germany. This will be the largest press in the Western Hemisphere.
