Uncommon Good

Organization Description

The mission of Uncommon Good is to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and to work for the restoration of our planet. These two goals are intertwined, since the alleviation of poverty depends upon having a healthy earth with enough resources to support everyone. It has a Whole Earth Building that serves as a community center.  Uncommon Good brings health care to low-income communities throughout LA County.  It has a sustainable agriculture component.  It has a connect to College component that provides mentoring, tutoring, leadership and enrichment opportunities.
