Program Information Makara Center for the Arts is a nonprofit lending library & art center in Santa Ana, California. Our specialized book collection is free to Santa Ana residents. Since opening our doors in May 2017, Makara has hosted literary readings, science programs, writing workshops, and arts & culture presentations.
