Organization Description

Fathers and Families of San Joaquin (FFSJ) work with the community to strength families and youth engagement through outreach efforts. FFSJ also provides outreach services, case management and therapeutic services to victims of crime through their Stockton Trauma Recovery Center.

Program Information

Student will have the opportunity to learn case management and work with our outreach team. They also have the opportunity to develop clinical skills through providing therapy.

Health & Safety

Students must be familiar with or willing to learn about trauma informed approaches. If students have experienced any trauma, they must have resolved their trauma or have therapeutic support during internship. FFSJ has safety protocols in place for a safe environment.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Driver's License
  • Must be 18 or older
  • TB Test
  • DMV Driving Record or DMV background check
  • Fingerprinting or Livescan is Required
  • Personal Vehicle Required
