Our mission is for Grimmway Academy Arvin and Grimmway Academy Shafter, K-8 public schools, to close the achievement gap for students in the rural areas of Kern County by creating an environment for student excellence and well-being. We believe educational excellence is achieved when health and wellness is at the center of a child’s learning environment. Through a process of continuous learning and growth, offering new educational opportunities and creating an environment of achievement for all students. As a result, students achieve academically, emotionally and physically, maximizing their individual potential to be prepared for the rigors of college, career and life.
