Program Information

The students provide compassionate support to terminally ill patients, visiting and offering companionship and support to their families. Volunteers work in the office, making calls to families offering support to the bereaved, and supporting the office staff. Students provide support to grieving children, working in support groups in our office and in surrounding schools. Students learn to apply skills in the clinical setting that have been learned in the classroom setting.
