Program Information

Company: This is a new and patent pending (Globally) technology developed by GreenTech California (a for-profit Public Benefit Company) and UCI. The company has launched and is a UCI Applied Innovation Wayfinder Incubator and a National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (NSF I-Corps) cohort company. The Co-founder and CEO has developed, built and successfully sold three technology companies over the last 24 years. He was formerly a professor. The technology uses physics and biology to replace chemicals in water processing. It thereby saves hundreds of thousands of dollars in chemicals and electricity to process waste water and seawater. GreenTech California (GTC) is an entrepreneurial start up company based at The Cove at UCI. It has filed utility patents for its work in nanobubble technology. This is in relation to water treatment plants and cooling towers.
