Organization Description

In the heart of California's Central Valley, Turlock is the second largest city in Stanislaus County, with a population that has grown steadily from 13,992 in 1970 to 72,219 today. Turlock has become economically sound, agriculturally elite, and continues to seek growth and development that complements the city’s business and industry and the needs of its residents. Cultural art experiences, sports activities, twenty-four parks, twenty one schools, and a full range of medical facilities.

Program Information

Turlock Parks and Recreation facilities and services offers opportunities to enhance our lives by participating in Fitness programs, Sports activities, Family Events, Community Traditions, Arts, Social and Educational Activities and a wide range of enrichment classes.

Health & Safety

Some programs may require a background check, fingerprinting or TB test. The site supervisor will determine if any checks need to be undertaken depending on the nature of the placement.

Turlock Parks and Recreation also runs the Turlock After School program.
