Program Information The Public Defender's Office represents individuals who have been arrested and charged with crimes and cannot afford to hire a private attorney. We are appointed by the courts on cases ranging from misdemeanors like driving under the influence and petty theft up to death penalty murder cases. Our goal is to provide quality representation to all our clients and assure that their rights are fully protected.
