Organization Description

A youth organization which plays a key role in the Sheriff's plan to reduce juvenile delinquency; A community partnership helping youth make good choices in their everyday lives; A dynamic program of activities and leadership opportunities to develop youth in an environment where youth can have a positive experience with law enforcement; Mission: To foster productive citizens by engaging youth in dynamic community programs.

Program Information

SCIP primarily serves the Arden-Arcade community and seven target schools; All students served are from Title I schools and are considered underserved and/or at-risk. SCIP, in partnership with the Sheriff's Youth Services Unit, provides educational, recreational, and athletic opportunities as well as conduct prevention/intervention programs
