Organization Description

Support Homeless woman and child to advance from a point of crisis to a position of self sufficiency. Our experience over the past 25 years has shown that this high intensity, 90-day program, rooted in one-on-one case management, is the first critical step in this process. Since 1985, we have served more than 25,000 homeless women and children in Sacramento County. Each day, we shelter 112 women and children (approximately 52 women and 60 children).

Program Information

Each day, we shelter 112 women and children (approximately 52 women and 60 children). We offer a 90-day program, providing an average of 336 hours of services to each family every month they are with us. In any given year, 1,240-plus women and children enter St. John's Shelter Program.
