Organization Description

The City of Seaside seeks to Include, Innovate, and Inspire Students. The city of Seaside offers many personalized opportunities for Service Learners. The enriching opportunities prove service learners with real, hands-on experience and a sense of community. 

Program Information

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new client database for Seaside Youth Resource Center.

- Transfer prior client data into new database.

- Organize and help oversee new and existing client data

- Provides assistance to the Violence Prevention/ Youth Opportunities Task Force, including program participation reports.

- Assists in developing public awareness documents and publicity materials regarding programs and or resources available to youth and community. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with educators, community based organizations, local public safety agencies, residents, coworkers, and others contacted during the course of internship. Participates in events or programs as required

ADA requirements: Office work, carry office supplies, hearing and speech to communicate, ability to use both vision and hearing to identify emergencies
