Organization Description

Associated Students’ mission is to support and represent the students of San José State University by continuing the organization’s legacy of student advocacy and leadership; to enhance SJSU students’ education through high quality programs and services; and to prepare students as they move towards a thoughtful and purposeful life after graduation.

Program Information

The Child Development Center (CDC) is a non-profit early education and care program serving children ages 4 months through 5 years and is licensed for 110 children. The Child Development Center is licensed by the California Department of Social Services and operates under guidelines established by the California Department of Education Child Development Division.

Background Check, Must be 18 or older

Requirements for Observations and  Volunteering:   

Fingerprinting and TB test (not reimbursable), MMR and TDAP immunizations (within 10 yrs) and Flu vaccine.
