Organization Description

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive array of social welfare and community development services to assist low income and other persons in need, contribute to community revitalization and cultural preservation in Little Tokyo and among the broader Japanese American community in the Southland, and to provide such resources to neighboring Asian Pacific Islander and other low income communities.

Program Information

Assisting with the Sustainable Little Tokyo initiative, which is a community planning and development effort in relation to a planned future major subway station in Little Tokyo; assisting with program development for the Far East Lounge, an activity center pilot program for seniors; assisting with fundraising efforts for the Far East Lounge and possibly our transitional housing project for survivors of domestic violence.
