Organization Description

Who We Are

Feminist Campus, a project of Feminist Majority Foundation(FMF), is the world’s largest pro-choice student network. With a dedicated staff of National Campus Organizers assigned to different regions in the country, Feminist Campus works with students on college campuses across the country to effect change at the grassroots, national, and global levels. FMF launched the program to inform young feminists about the very real threats to abortion access, women’s rights, affirmative action, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights posed by right-wing extremists.

Brief description of volunteer work: The Feminist Majority Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with various campaigns we are currently working on. Volunteers can attend fun action events and weekly volunteer nights, volunteer in our office on an individual basis, and take action in their local community on national campaigns.

What We Do

Our job is to ensure that every college campus has a thriving feminist presence. We help students start new feminist groups on campuses called Feminist Majority Leadership Alliances (FMLAs). We also work with existing college groups that wish to affiliate with Feminist Majority Foundation and get all the same resources as FMLAs! The Leadership Alliances and Affiliates constitute a nationwide network of pro-choice feminist student-run activist organizations. FMF is currently working with several hundred college campuses nationwide and the network is growing every day. Start or affiliate your feminist campus group today!

In addition to helping student groups launch and thrive, our National Campus Organizers also organize on-the-ground during state elections where anti-choice legislation is on the ballot.
