Organization Description

The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection serves and safeguards the people and protects the property and resources of California.

Program Information

The Cooperative (Co-Op) Education Program is designed for students who want to obtain paid practical work experience while pursuing a degree.  The Co-Op Education Program prepares students entering the work force with practical hands-on training prior to graduation.  This on-the-job training gives the Co-Op Program students a competitive edge over the others who have not had previous experience in their field of study.
