Organization Description

We are a non-profit organization who works through trained volunteers who serve as an advocate for a child in the Merced County Dependency Court System. Based on the belief that every child is entitled to a safe and supportive home, our volunteers work in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources to advocate for the best interest of the child.

Program Information

To support volunteers to succeed in accomplishing their goal of advocating for the best interests of children who are in the child welfare and juvenile court systems. The intern will support staff, including answering phones, assisting advocates as directed by staff and will work with youth under the direction of staff who are leading youth activities.
