Opportunity Summary 

Position Description

Tasks will include working with students in different classes, such as study skills, AVID, as well as core curriculum classes. Students can work one-on-one or in small group settings, assisting teachers in the classroom setting. Students may come in to observe in different classes if need be.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

  • Explore different grade levels and subjects in a Public School setting.
  • Build experience in working with students.
  • Observe different teaching strategies and techniques used by teachers in a variety of different grade levels and subjects.

Desired Qualifications

Be willing to work with middle school students and be a positive roll model to those students.

 

Hours per Week: Minimum of 1 hour per week
