New Hope Grief Support Community
Since 2003, New Hope Grief Support Community has provided Greater Long Beach and surrounding cities with grief support services, education, referrals, and resources. Our mission is to help bereaved children and families find hope and healing through connection and support. Our programs serve individuals, youth in schools, and families. New Hope provides essential grief support through peer support groups and family bereavement camps for a universal experience that is still misunderstood and taboo in our society.
Our school groups and family camps include minor children.Training & background check required for Volunteers. We serve grieving adults, children, and families who experience the death of a loved one due to a range of death types.1st - 12th-grade school-based grief groups or facilitator opportunities are on school campuses working with children & teens.
