Opportunity Summary 

Position Description

Participates as a “leader in development” in various aspects of our kingergarten family literacy development initiative: organizing and attending family events, reading with children, monitoring progress of children, making videos, contacting families

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

  • Overall vision of the kindergarten family literacy development initiative
  • Developing competence in serving children with no formal preschool experience
  • Developing competence in collaborative leadership
  • Developing competence in assessing learner progress and initiative effectiveness
  • Developing competence in effective home-school communication

  • Genuine passion for learning and helping children learn.
  • Balanced stewardship of time, talent, and resources 
  • Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with others to collectively discern and work toward a common vision

Length of position 13 Weeks

Hours per week 5 hours
