The Museum of the San Fernando Valley

Organization Description

The Museum of the San Fernando Valley is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit history, arts and culture museum free to the public whose mission is not only to acquire, display and preserve San Fernando Valley artifacts, documents and records related to the history and culture of Valley, but to give a central voice to the distinctive histories of all populations from the SFV whose cultures, races, religions and ideas contributed to the SFV's character, growth and development. We believe our programming of shared stories inspire people to bridge cultural biases.

Health & Safety

Because some of the students have the option to work at home, The Museum will not be able to supervise them at that time. Students under 18 will be able to participate as long as they have their

parent or guardian complete a written museum permission form. The Museum holds Liability Insurance only. The Museum hopes that CSUN has its insurance for students participating in our offsite internship/volunteer programs as well.
