Program Information

General Description of what students will be doing at this Site: Student will create a Program Coordinating Committee by partnering with community agencies who provide quality resources. The student will use the new partnerships to create a community resource guide for low-income families in Monterey County. Lastly, the student will partner with agencies and will facilitate life skills workshops for program participants.

Create relationships with community partners and implement a Program Coordinating Committee, create resource guide for program participants, and create virtual workshops.

Key Responsibilities: The student will be support staff to the Family Self-Sufficiency Specialist, and will address the need of aiding low-income families in becoming independent of public financial services. 

Develop quality community relationships and create a functional PCC Group. Create a resource guide for program participants. Create and facilitate life skills workshops for participants.

ADA requirements: Must have the ability to sit for lengthy periods of time, and operate keyboard equipment.

Please note: this learning experience has a minimum weekly hour requirement of 15 hours.
