Vision Statement: The Humboldt Senior Resource Center is committed to providing services, information, education, and recreation for seniors, families, and caregivers in Humboldt County. HSRC evolves in response to a growing senior population with expanding and changing needs. We envision a caring and healthy community which encourages intergenerational relationships, recognizes the wisdom and experience of its elders, and demonstrates awareness and respect for the aging process.

Program Information

What is Redwood Coast PACE?

Redwood Coast PACE is an all-inclusive health plan for eligible older adults who wish to remain living in their home and community.
We provide medical, social, nutritional, rehabilitation, and support services for frail adults who:

  • Are age 55 and older
  • Need a nursing home level of care (the state of California determines/certifies each applicant’s need for a nursing home level of care.)
  • Can safely live in the community with no harm to themselves or others, and
  • Reside in the Redwood Coast PACE service area — Eureka, McKinleyville, Arcata, Bayside, Blue Lake, Carlotta, Ferndale, Fields Landing, Fortuna, Hydesville, Korbel, Loleta, Rio Dell, Samoa, Scotia, or Trinidad
