TO ASSIST THE MONTEREY COUNTY FREE LIBRARIES IN PROVIDING ACCESS TO INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND RECREATIONAL MATERIALS, AND LIFELONG LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO THE DIVERSE CULTURAL, LINGUISTIC, URBAN, AND RURAL COMMUNITIES IT SERVES.
