Opportunity Summary 

Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)

Student will work directly with Marketing Manager to design and implement digital marketing strategies both internally and for clients. Tasks include blog writing, social media posting, SEO, content creation, digital advertising, some graphic design, and other marketing related tasks. On the job training will be provided.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

As a marketing intern, we usually base the internship around the Star Fox Media blog. For our blog we post once a week about all kinds of marketing topics. We ask the student to do research on new marketing trends and write articles to post to the blog. This allows them to learn in two different ways: through the research they do, and through the actual work. An ideal candidate would leave the internship with all of the knowledge to become an entry level marketer for any organization or to freelance.

Desired Qualifications

Junior or Senior studying Marketing, Business, Communications, or other relevant subjects. Ability to work in Vista at least 2 days per week.
