PTHC, Inc. was started with a vision of providing exceptional physical therapy to the greater San Diego area through exercise based therapies, manual (hands-on) techniques, and an emphasis on patient education. Founded by two physical therapists in 1986 in the coastal community of Carlsbad, PTHC, Inc. has grown to become one of San Diego’s most established physical therapy providers. While we have grown, we still maintain the same fundamentals we started with in order to offer the highest quality physical therapy care the industry can offer. The mission of Physical Therapy and Hand Centers, Inc. is to consistently provide the highest quality of physical therapy services. We do this by providing patient care exclusively with licensed Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Certified Hand Therapists. Our patients are challenged with progressive therapy, enhancing and promoting strength, mobility, and function. Long-term relationships are developed and maintained between our staff, referring health care providers, insurance representatives, and local industry, ensuring greater continuity of care. Our therapists frequently enhance their clinical and theoretical knowledge base through professional coursework, peer presentations, and regular interaction with referring physicians. Our facilities are easily accessible for patients, physicians, insurance representatives, medical staff, and health care personnel, located in the communities in which they live and work. Each clinic is open extended hours for convenience and to facilitate work-related productivity during the rehabilitation process.
