Service-Learning OpportunitiesAt — Search Dog Foundation
1) GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS AND SUPPORT: To work collaboratively to support and strengthen the organization by reinforcing and expanding the SDF brand and communications sent out on behalf of the agency. Help implement communication strategies across all print and digital platforms, and track communications with stakeholders. Possible opportunities include assisting with social media content preparation, photo review and organization, and event coordination such as Search Team Graduations, special events, and National Training Center tours.
Search Dog Foundation is also interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support course outcomes.
It is our hope that the student will be well versed in the mission and workings of the Search Dog Foundation. Further skills in communication strategies and graphic arts across all platforms, updating and maintaining website content, photo processing, and organization as well as providing communication support to program and organization are all areas we are looking forward to having our students learn while being an integral part of our communications team.
Students will be mentored by our Senior Director of Communications in all areas mentioned.
If working onsite, proper clothing such as long pants and closed toed shoes are required.
