Developing human interface sample collection methods and devices. This position is responsible for the development of novel human interface devices in order to provide high quality sampling methods for medical diagnostic systems.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes
The objectives and outcomes of this position would be to understand how to collect a sample, such as saliva or sputum, from a patient such that it is easy and comfortable for the patient and is suitable for incorporation into a point-of-care medical diagnostic device.
Desired Qualifications: a student in a biology or related field.
