Organization Description

We commit to provide comprehensive and individualized physical therapy services to each and every patient that comes through our door and strive to return every patient to the level of comfort to which they are accustomed.

Program Information

Volunteers will have the job description similar to PT technician, but they will not be allowed to touch any patient. They will have observation opportunities, cleaning duties, and special assignments which do not require physical touch to any patient.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned:

Students will learn what a physical therapist is and how they contribute to the health of the community. They will learn how to become a physical therapist and how to start the application process. They will learn a bit of applied anatomy and kinesiology.

Health & Safety

Students will have to sign a HIPPA agreement, dress code agreement, and Volunteer agreement describing their expectations and duties
