Organization Description
The Corporation is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation operated exclusively for nonāprofit trade within the meaning of Section 501(c)(6). The specific purposes for which this Corporation was formed are: (1) To attract visitors to the area by promoting and marketing Modesto; (2) to provide coordination and leadership for the community and visitor industry; (3) to gather community information and disseminate such on the status of the visitor industry; and (4) to work with organizations to structure suitable financing plans for the Corporation, and to implement those plans.
