Opportunity Summary 

Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)
Individual must be willing to meet remotely via video conference at least 1x per week. Expected weekly time commitment will be at least 2 hour minimum with a maximum time of 5 hours per week if availability of mentor is present. Time and day subject to change due to schedule changes.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes
Individual will learn basic biomechanical principles, appropriate progression/regression of exercises, and review of anatomy. If time permits and interest from student is present will cover structure of Physical therapy exams, athletic training injury screens, knowing when to refer for medical help, or any other category in the health and fitness sector.

Desired Qualifications
Interested in pursuing further education in the Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Strength and Conditioning, or Research realm.

Must interview for internship opportunity. Will consist of a phone call or video conference for about 15 minutes. Resume optional but not necessary. Only will be accepting 1 student per semester currently but opportunity to expand to multiple students potentially in the future.
