Organization Description

PlayGround is a leading playwright incubator and theatre community hub, deeply committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in its policies and practices, staffing, board, artists and audience. PlayGround’s mission is to support the development of significant new local voices for the theatre, particularly those historically marginalized including BIPOC, women, LGBTQIA+, and differently abled, helping to launch these writers onto the national scene.

Program Information

Immersion in PlayGround's programs and producing functions, including fundraising, marketing, publicity, contracts, audience services, and more. By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned how a nonprofit professional theatre company operates.

Health & Safety

All activity is currently remote and online via Zoom and using shared cloud systems, such as Google Drive.
