Program Information

The Community Health Worker Collaborative is developing Community Health Worker (CHW) job training, job placement, and services for the Hmong community in Humboldt County. The Collaborative will provide culturally appropriate job training through CR Workforce and Community Education, mentorship with our collaborative partners, job placement and leadership in the future Community Health Worker Cooperative, and CHW services for people in need, through our collaborative partners. The student will learn empathetic interview skills, how to make and implement decisions collaboratively, and how to engage in community-led strategic planning.
