California Wildlife Center

Program Information

California Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit wildlife rehabilitation organization that opened in 1998. To date CWC has accepted more than 40,000 animals and currently takes in around 4,000 patients a year, most of whom are from the Los Angeles area. California Wildlife Center takes responsibility for the protection of native wildlife through rehabilitation, education, and conservation. It is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of native California species, who otherwise would be left to suffer from the effects of human encroachment, habitat destruction and environmental damage. Our goal is to rehabilitate and release our patients back into the wild.
