Program Information

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager (an LCSW) students will conduct behavioral health evaluations for incoming patients. This will include presenting problems as well as mental health history. In addition, students will help to complete GPRA surveys for all SOR-2 patients (State Opioid Response Grant). Another key responsibility would be assisting with the implementation of the TRUST Program for Psychostimulant Use Disorder. This responsibility would include the facilitation of groups. If interested, students would also be considered for an individual caseload of patients for purposes of brief, solution-focused therapy. For foundation students, an opportunity exists for introductory patient care at the level of engagement and navigation. This would included community liaison work with the El Dorado County Opioid Coalition.
