Step Up Tutoring
Organization Description
Step Up Tutoring's mission is to support underserved students both academically and through one on one virtual tutoring in english and math and mentorship, working to close the achievement gap that has only gotten worse the past year with the Pandemic. Volunteers work with 3rd - 6th grade students for twice a week virtually tutoring providing homework help and support.
Health & Safety
Additional requirements and/or considerations We are a remote tutoring program so students will tutor from the privacy and safety from wherever they choose to tutor.
- Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
- Computer Literacy
- Must be 18 or older
- Pre-Placement Training
- SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
