The Office of Global Education/Study Abroad is seeking an intern who would specialize in social media/video production, amongst other outreach-related tasks. The role would be to support programming, recruitment, retention and assessment while serving CSUSM students, the campus, the community and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, film editing, video content creation. Students are welcome to apply from any major, but those in Communication, Art Media and Design, Media Studies, Marketing may have a special interest in this position.
1. Strategies for increasing cultural/ intercultural competency 2. Coordination skills for managing needs and desires of different stakeholders 3. Utilization of assessment to drive date-driven decisions 4. Demonstrate improved oral and written communication skills 5. Organization and time management skills for a fast-paced environment 6. Leadership skills relevant for a global world
Intern will have regular 1-1 meetings with site supervisor and be assigned trainings as needed (e.g. social media, video editing, etc.)
