ASSISTANT / INTERN wanted for a multi-national film/television  production and distribution corporation. Part-time, flexible schedule. Duties include executive support of senior management in areas of corporate finance, production, marketing/PR and distribution.
Looking for a team player who is a daily user of multiple social networks and video sites, who is able to spot online trends and ways for the company to use them to promote feature film and video product, the company's online store, and to facilitate corporate branding.
Additionally, we are looking for a variety of skill sets. Do you think outside the box? Do you have a creative eye? Can you edit photos/videos or create original graphic designs? Have you prepared or issued Press Releases? Can you write copy? Do you have strong research skills? Requirements:
*Ability to work well in a team environment
* Degree or coursework (or equiv. experience) in Digital Media/PR/Marketing/Advertising
*Intermediate knowledge of marketing techniques in online communities/social networking, including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube
*Laptop computer (PC or Mac)
*Intermediate skills with computers (PC), software including Microsoft Office, and internet research and analytics
*Desire to learn and gain knowledge and experience in the film industry
*Typing speed: minimum 50 WPM

*Knowledge of photo editing (Photoshop, etc.) and non-linear video editing software (i.e. Avid/Adobe/Vegas/Final Cut)

Learning Outcomes:
Compose, schedule and post various social media marketing and advertising items e.g professional blogs and press releases. The student also participates fully in regularly scheduled corporate branding meetings, communicates regularly with various media outlets including traditional and online platforms and develops/ implements PR/marketing strategies.
