Organization Description

Our purpose is to provide a healthcare contact for wellness and the optimization of health. We provide Chiropractic Care, Massage Therapy, Physical Examination for Student-Athletes, Spinal & Postural Screenings, Custom - Made Foot Orthotics, Lifestyle Advice, Corrective Exercises, and Nutritional Counselling.

Program Information

Student will intern as a chiropractic assistant:

1. Student will assist patients in preparation for treatment
2. Assist the doctor with procedures and treatment when requested
3. Document in medical records, when necessary, to explain cancellations of or changes in the schedule
4. Clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment
5. Maintain necessary materials in treatment rooms

Student will gain hands-on experience with patients and clinical experience. Also, understand the workflow of a clinic and procedures to treat patients properly.
