Organization Description

PHP's mission is to help children and adults with special needs receive the support and services they need to reach their full potential by providing information, training, and resources to build strong families and improve systems of care. We connect families to resources and information through 1:1 calls, support groups, in-person workshops, and E-Learning.

Health & Safety

Population served are typically adult individuals with intellectual and or developmental delays. Most have social anxiety.

The program is all virtual. We have been running it for two years without any notable incidents relating to the safety of clients or our volunteer facilitators.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be 18 or older
  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations.
