Richmond Elementary School District

Organization Description

Nestled in the corner of the high desert, at the confluence of the Cascade and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges, Richmond School sits along what once was a wagon trail into Lassen County. Established in 1864, Richmond is the oldest, longest continuously operated school in Lassen County. In 2014, Richmond celebrated its 150th anniversary.

Serving a population of approximately 230 students, Richmond provides an enriching, yet standards-based curriculum for all students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.
