The department offers community programs, to ages 3 to 100+, to enhance the lives through recreation, special events and social service programs. The department seeks individuals to help facilitate and promote offerings to the community.
City of Agoura - Department of Community Services is interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support course outcomes.
Depending on the project the student will have learned how to facilitate, organize, research, or promote programs delivered by the department.
Students will receive an orientation, weekly meetings or as needed, shadow staff, receive/review previous samples of work. Encourage students to be creative and personalize assigned duties.
Students should be fully vaccinated, fingerprinted and TB tested. COVID safety guidelines are in place for the safety of everyone.
