Opportunity Summary 

1) Sociology Department partnership for ongoing research to define community needs as it relates to our organizational initiatives

2) 99.3 FM rhythmofthecoast Radio Station students to assist in the management and execution of daily programming

Community Advocacy Coalition is also interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support course outcomes.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

1) Applied research methodologies

2) Practical workings of a local low-frequency radio station

Students will learn about the mission, services, and population this organization serves and the issues that impact this population.

Opportunity Training 

1) Mentoring, research design/methodology/analyses/presentation
