The Communication team works with leaders and individuals across Assurant to design external and internal communication strategies to enhance reputation and create clear understanding of our company???s direction. From preparing media strategies to hosting the company???s global intranet and driving the corporate social responsibility efforts, we engage, inform and equip audiences across clients, consumers and employees. We???re seeking an intern who is curious about the way information flows throughout an organization, is a strong writer and has a sharp attention to detail.About the opportunity:Our team will create a hands-on experience to expose the intern to various business communication projects and scenarios. The intern will partner across the entire team to contribute to activities related to:???	Improving various aspects of the global company intranet???	Writing articles and creating written and video content for various internal client needs and external scenarios???	Enhancing the measurement strategy, especially for internal communication???	Assisting in meetings and events, such as town hall meetingsRequired Skills and Qualifications: ???	College student pursuing a degree in communications, public relations or English???	Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)???	Highly motivated and detail-oriented???	Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel???	Experience with Google Analytics is a plus???	Experience with Microsoft SharePoint a plus???	Graphic design experience is a plus???	Student Age Range: College (18+)???	Timeframe: Spring (January ??? May)
